Few short dramas commit to the drama quite like this one does. On the surface this is a Counterattack / Fantasy serial, but underneath it is a story about obsession, loyalty and consequences — and "Your Farmer Husband Is The Last DragonKnight" plays both layers for all they are worth.

Dragon knight Sam hides his power, gets scorned as a bumpkin at a betrothal, rejected by the princess and married off to her sister Anna — which turns out to be the good ending. As a necromancer cult rises, the arranged pact ripens into love, and when poison forces the issue, Anna's royal blood and dragon fire wake Sam's true form. Underestimated-husband fantasy with an unusually warm central pairing.
