This is the kind of guilty-pleasure serial that knows exactly what it is. On the surface this is a Fantasy / Forbidden Love serial, but underneath it is a story about motherhood as both armor and soft spot — and "Feeding the Dragon's Desir" plays both layers for all they are worth.

Dragon King Tzyrthos survives on one substance: the milk of a human woman named Vera. She breaks into his lair applying to be a wet nurse to save her sickly son — unaware she is the very antidote the king has hunted for a year, and that the child in her arms is the bloodline he left in the Misty Forest. Two secrets orbiting one cottage; the show lets the audience hold both the entire time.

Tropes on the menu: single mom, lost child. The pacing is relentless in the best way: no filler, just escalation.
