The Queen Who Never Aged

This is the kind of guilty-pleasure serial that knows exactly what it is. On the surface this is a Fantasy serial, but underneath it is a story about obsession, loyalty and consequences — and "The Queen Who Never Aged" plays both layers for all they are worth.

Queen Isolde has not aged in decades, thanks to a crystal she does not advertise. Sneaking into her own son's engagement party goes about as badly as you would expect — the bride mistakes her for a mistress and nearly kills her for it. Then the show escalates: a faked pregnancy, a demon growing inside it, and a family that has to fight together before it can rule together. Family intrigue with actual teeth.
