Devoted Guard: CEO & Slum Killer

Ten years of loyalty get a stress test in this identity-tangle thriller. Arthur, a mayor-in-waiting, once took in Leo, a slum-raised killer; when a drugged, bounty-marked Leo breaks into Arthur's hotel suite, the protected and the protector swap places — and the show runs with the reversal. The marriage agreement that follows is pitched as political armor, but the writing keeps circling the real currency: Leo's gate code is the day they met, and the series trusts you to notice without a flashback explaining it. The genre blend is odd and mostly works — half campaign-intrigue procedural, half slow-burn devotion test — and the counterattack plot gives Leo genuine agency instead of bodyguard-cliché duty. Fair warning: the central pairing is intense and the violence is casual. Viewers who like dangerous devotion, code-switching leads, and loyalty treated as a language will find this a sharp, moody drink.
