Leo Evans is mocked as poor at his own fiancée's family event when heiress Claire Carter steps in to defend him — then offers him three million dollars to play her husband and block an arranged marriage. Kindness as the hiring criterion is a nice touch, and the show treats the fake marriage as the free sample: Leo's real value and Claire's real feelings appreciate from there.
