Synopsis
The setup is a masterclass in engineered humiliation: a nation's richest man flies economy to dodge rivals, a storm forces a real pilot into the cockpit, and a vain captain with connections throws him out mid-flight. What follows is the genre's most reliable pleasure — competence revealing itself under catastrophe. The show stages the dive honestly, lets the brat break down, then hands Soren the yoke and the room. As wish-fulfillment it is precise: the right people are terrified in the right order. Less convincing is the corporate subplot, which exists mostly to remind you Owen is rich. Fifty-six episodes keep the incidents coming — emergencies, exposures, one very satisfying reckoning. Watch it for the cockpit sequence and the aftermath arithmetic; skip it if you need aviation realism beyond dialogue.
