The Vampire King's Only Addiction

Short-form drama fans, this one goes down easy and hits hard. On the surface this is a Romance / Forbidden Love serial, but underneath it is a story about wanting what you are not supposed to want — and "The Vampire King's Only Addiction" plays both layers for all they are worth.

Ella has been treated as a lowly blood servant by her own vampire family — until Vampire King Kane crosses her path and discovers her blood is the only one he can tolerate. The twist the audience gets early and Kane does not: she is the woman he marked three years ago and has hunted ever since. Craving-as-recognition is a clean genre hook, and the show plays it with real hunger.

Tropes on the menu: forbidden love, hidden identity. Episodes are bite-sized, the cliffhangers are ruthless, and the payoff lands faster than most full-length shows manage in a season.
