Step on Me I'll Crush You All

Few short dramas commit to the drama quite like this one does. On the surface this is a Strong Female Lead serial, but underneath it is a story about obsession, loyalty and consequences — and "Step on Me I'll Crush You All" plays both layers for all they are worth.

Mona Lane's daughter is nearly killed by a drunk driver, and the driver's mother Sue Mack shows up with two million dollars and a black card. Mona recognizes the card — it is one of hers, funneled through her husband Evan to support Sue and their son for twenty years. Sue came to buy a grieving mother and instead handed the receipts to the wrong woman. Eighty episodes of corporate and marital demolition follow, and Mona never once raises her voice.
