Reborn After The Acid Attack

Few setups are as bleak as this one: Iris dies disfigured by acid, poured by the daughter she raised, and the rebirth twist is not a power fantasy but a chance to sign the custody away. The show's sharpest choice is restraint — reborn Iris does not rage, she watches, letting the obsessive girl and the weak father walk into each other. Viewers should read the warnings honestly: the daughter's fixation turns romantic-adjacent, which some will find transgressive and others unwatchable. What works is the cold accounting of a mother declining to die twice for people who enjoyed it. Fifty episodes keep the spiral tidy, and the satisfaction is structural rather than loud. For fans of consequence-driven revenge where the punishment is watching the villains be themselves, this is a clean, chilly execution.
