My Grandma's Last Gift Was a Wolf King

The inheritance here is not money; it is a predator with opinions. Dumped by her father and stepsister with nothing but an old goat, Elara follows her grandmother's letter to a hidden iron box — whistle-bone, cash, a house — and one breath into it summons the Wolf King, who takes one look and starts training her as his Shadow Lord. The pleasure is the grandmother-as-strategist reveal: the woman everyone pitied was running a long game, and her posthumous moves keep arriving like scheduled packages. The werewolf lore stays light, the hidden-identity beats land cleanly, and Elara's arc runs on earned respect rather than fated mates, which refreshes a shelf full of growl-first romances. At forty-five episodes the pacing is brisk, the villains are small-hearted in satisfying ways, and the found-pack warmth sneaks up on you. Wolf-romance regulars get their fix; newcomers get an easy on-ramp.
