King of Las Vegas

This is the kind of guilty-pleasure serial that knows exactly what it is. On the surface this is a Revenge serial, but underneath it is a story about payback served cold — and "King of Las Vegas" plays both layers for all they are worth.

Kane is a gambling prodigy who gets framed out of his own life and ends up on the street — until Vera, owner of Queen's Casino, gives him a table to come back to. The Underground Championship is his road back, but every win peels another layer off the city: first Holland, then the Silver Moon Council pulling strings behind the Eclipse. The proposal-to-Vera beat lands mid-story on purpose; the real game is the summit trap being built around him.
