Despised By Mortals

Short-form drama fans, this one goes down easy and hits hard. On the surface this is a Fantasy / Strong Female Lead serial, but underneath it is a story about payback served cold — and "Despised By Mortals" plays both layers for all they are worth.

Perseus walks into the Underworld to bargain with Hades for his murdered beloved and mother, and stumbles into a divine conspiracy instead. The trade costs him every drop of his godhood, and the show's answer is oddly moving: stripped mortal, he still topples a tyrant with flesh and blood, then refuses both throne and immortality to guard the ordinary world. Myth-scale stakes with a genuinely human center.

Tropes on the menu: revenge, redemption. The pacing is relentless in the best way: no filler, just escalation.
