Back Off! The Legendary Marshal Returns

Six years of war end, and Kay Cox comes home to a family that has learned to live without him. The setup is classic comeuppance theater: in-laws sneer, the wife Mia endures, and the returning legend plays dead until the Morgans push too far. What sells it is the escalation logic — this marshal does not duel; he dismantles. The plot branches into an arms-smuggling conspiracy tied to a terrorist cell, which gives the revenge a national-stakes spine instead of pure dinner-party humiliation. Fifty-five episodes move at a clip, alternating family-defense set pieces with the slow unmasking of the Fenrir identity. Expect competence fantasy, not subtlety: villains are loud, loyalty is tested on schedule, and the daughter Nina supplies the emotional fuse. Viewers who want a war god protecting his own without twenty episodes of dithering will find this a tidy, satisfying burn.
